Chris Barrett is Associate Professor of English at Louisiana State University, where her research and teaching interests include early modern literature in English, geocritical approaches to literature, ecocriticism and ecomaterialism, and critical animal studies. She is the author of Early Modern English Literature and the Poetics of Cartographic Anxiety (Oxford University Press, 2018), and of articles and essays on Spenser, Shakespeare, and Milton.
