About MLA 2019

The 2019 MLA Annual Convention takes place in Chicago, 3–6 January, at the Hyatt Regency Chicago, Sheraton Grand Chicago, and Fairmont Chicago. Sessions will begin at 12:00 noon on 3 January, with workshops at 8:30 and 11:45 a.m. The last sessions will end at 3:00 p.m. on 6 January. We’re pleased to be collaborating with the American Historical Association, which will also hold its annual meeting in Chicago from 3 to 6 January. To promote interdisciplinary collaboration, the MLA and the AHA will honor each other’s attendee badges.
