Anne Porter is Assistant Professor of English and Director of the Writing Center at Alma College, where she also serves as the Composition Director. Her research interests are in Composition, Rhetoric, and Literacy. She has published book chapters appearing in Rhetoric, Knowledge, and the Public Sphere (Kampka and Kozakowska, eds. 2016); International Advances in Writing Research:  Cultures, Places, Measures (Bazerman et al, eds. 2012) and a co-authored article with Anne Ruggles Gere and others in 2010 in Assessing Writing.
