I teach film, literature, and required writing courses at Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, IN. My research on transnational literature and film has appeared in a number of journals, including PMLA, JML, Cultural Politics, College Literature, Cultural Critique, and Obsidian III. I've conducted archival research abroad and taught at Lebanese and French universities. I'm currently working on a book on representations of servants and workers and am a strong advocate of shared governance as the Chair of my institution's Faculty Affairs Committee.
