Session Information
Description: Connecting #feesmustfall to the struggle to remove monuments to racist pasts on campus, this session speaks to the contemporary global university as it has been constructed through both political protest and literary form in the postcolonial world. How has the university figured in the study of world literature? How has it been imagined in the postcolonial context, as an institution both beholden to and offering promise beyond the colonial infrastructure?
