Many years ago, Latin New York Magazine nominated me “trombonist of the year.” More recently, I have published a monograph with Palgrave Macmillan called Music and Identity in Twentieth-Century Literature from Our America – Noteworthy Protagonists and recorded a CD on Centaur Records titled Las piedras del cielo.
