Description: Humanities without Walls (HWW) and the Chicago Humanities Festival convene a two-part summit exploring the impact of automation on work and labor from literary and cultural perspectives.

Funded by grants from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation, HWW is based at the Illinois Program for Research in the Humanities at the University of Illinois, Urbana.

Anne Ruggles Gere, MLA President, will introduce the panel, and Hilary Strang will moderate.
