1:45 PM–3:00 PM Saturday, Jan 5, 2019 (US - Central)

Hyatt Regency - Plaza Ballroom B

Session Information

Description: This interactive poster session highlights classroom lessons and assignments that interrogate material-textual objects. Presenters demonstrate activities that ask students to play card games, investigate “book dummies” or historical newspapers, craft ink and quills, record audio, make Little Golden Books, or cook historical recipes. These assignments propose experiential models for teaching students bibliography and book history.
