Description: Current and former members of the PMLA Editorial Board and Advisory Committee, as well as authors who have published in PMLA, reflect on the role of a generalist journal in publishing specialized scholarship, discuss the PMLA review process, offer advice on undertaking and responding effectively to peer review, consider the types of influence a journal article can have, and identify emerging trends in scholarship and possible new directions for PMLA.
