Description: The faculty-administration relationship is a classic tension in the university setting. Panelists offer perspectives on what a faculty member might think about in contemplating a move into administrative roles outside the department: what are the pathways, the challenges and rewards, the skills required? We will give particular attention to the ways humanities faculty members might advocate for the field within their administrative roles.
