Description: The work of the Whiting Public Engagement Fellows and Seed Grantees deploys the depth, nuance, and richness of humanistic methods and content to engage publics beyond the academy. In this interactive session, we clarify the obstacles to evaluating and rewarding engaged scholarship and seek consensus about the values, accomplishments, and forms we want to encourage under the sign of the humanities.
