Session Information
Description: Presenters share models to integrate intercultural competence in K–20 (from kindergarten through graduate school) language education. How can teachers, graduate students, and researchers form a community of practice with the goal of planning and implementing units in language courses in a public school system and at a public university? Participants discuss activities to foster students’ intercultural competence and benefits and challenges of intercultural competence in education.
