Session Information

Description: Panelists explore Shakespeare’s works in the ecology of the forms, genres, and conventions of vernacular as well as neo-Latin early modern literatures. Instead of focusing on Shakespeare’s sources, panelists aim to discern how his writing participated in—and was relevant to, in sync with, or perhaps at odds with—contemporary European or Eurasian trends.
