Description: Movements such as #NiUnaMenos and #MeToo have been pivotal in turning our attention to the violence perpetuated against women worldwide. Panelists examine the performative and textual strategies artists and activists use to address gender violence in the Americas. We further consider the inclusiveness of these strategies and analyze how they intersect with human rights discourse, legislation, and media both locally and transnationally.
