Session Information
Description: What can the renewed interest in the theory of lyric, as evidenced by the recent publication of The Lyric Theory Reader and Theory of the Lyric bring to the study of Wallace Stevens’s poetry? Panelists examine Stevens’s relation to the lyric from multiple perspectives. Among the many questions that can be asked is to what extent Stevens incorporates nonlyric elements within his poetry.
